One of my favorite projects to work on was the National Concrete Masonry Association Competition, which required us to build a community center with affordable housing in the Chinatown district of Manhattan. This was the first chance I had to design a building in an urban setting, and I enjoyed the challenge of incorporating local culture into the project. This was also when I began to take a heavier interest in 3D modeling, and I switched between Revit, Rhino, Illustrator, and Lumion to design the floor plans and create a model.
